Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments encompassing physical examinations and in-depth review of medical histories prior to surgical intervention
• Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory findings to support surgical evaluation and planning
• Partner with attending surgeons to develop individualized treatment strategies tailored to each patient's unique clinical needs
• Provide active intraoperative assistance, including room preparation, confirming proper patient positioning, and instrument management throughout procedures
• Deliver attentive pre- and post-operative care, including wound management, medication oversight, discharge coordination, and comprehensive patient and family education

Education

• Master's degree from a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical training with a meaningful emphasis on surgical rotations strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant or demonstrated eligibility to obtain
