We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team in Delaware City, Delaware. In this role, you will assess and treat patients with various physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges, creating customized therapy plans to help them regain independence and improve their quality of life. You will play an essential role in improving the well-being of your patients and supporting their long-term health goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional conditions
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to the needs and goals of each patient
• Provide hands-on therapy to improve motor skills, daily living activities, and cognitive function
• Track patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed for the best possible outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and long-term recovery strategies
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide holistic, patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Delaware
• Proficiency in occupational therapy techniques and interventions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility to treat a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
