Description – Your Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical lab tests—chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more—adhering to established protocols.
• Interpret results for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and carry out preventive maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and effectively prepare samples for testing as required.
• Record all procedures meticulously, train new staff or students, and assist in upholding laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a tidy, safe work environment and comply with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your time here.
