Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations in inpatient or outpatient settings and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver physical therapy interventions targeting functional mobility, muscular strength, balance restoration, and overall independence
• Work closely alongside physicians, nursing staff, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to drive optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, home exercise programs, and discharge planning strategies
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of evaluations, session notes, and patient progress in alignment with regulatory and facility standards
• Actively engage in interdisciplinary care conferences and team rounds to ensure seamless, coordinated care delivery

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from a nationally accredited institution

Certifications

• Active Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Florida
• CPR certification preferred
• Advanced or specialty certifications in areas such as geriatrics, neurology, or orthopedics are welcomed but not required
