Job Description

• Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients’ needs and create personalized therapeutic approaches to facilitate their achievement of functional milestones
• Implement Therapeutic Approaches: Employ evidence-based methods to enhance patients’ motor skills, cognitive abilities, and everyday living tasks
• Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide well-rounded, holistic care
• Train Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their families on therapeutic exercises to ensure continued progression at home
• Evaluate and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on track

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution
• Continuous professional development through continuing education or post-graduate certifications is encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
