What You Will Be Doing

• Execute routine and complex laboratory analyses across disciplines including hematology, chemistry, immunology, and microbiology following established protocols and quality benchmarks.
• Review and validate test results, troubleshoot instrument discrepancies, and perform routine calibration and preventative maintenance on lab equipment.
• Assist with the collection and preparation of specimens to ensure sample integrity from the point of collection through processing.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all procedures, contribute to training initiatives for incoming staff or students, and actively support the lab's quality assurance standards.
• Uphold a safe and compliant workspace consistent with all applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health discipline is required; equivalent combinations of education and ASCP or AMT certification preparation will be considered.

Certifications

• Active ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science is required or must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification is expected throughout the duration of employment.
