What You Will Be Doing

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, and developing individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, and episodic conditions — either collaboratively with physicians or independently, depending on credentialing
• Counseling patients and their families on disease prevention, wellness strategies, and long-term health management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapeutic interventions within your scope of practice
• Engaging in ongoing patient follow-up and coordinating chronic disease management programs
• Working across multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, patient-centered care
• Maintaining accurate, detailed documentation within electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Florida
• National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C via AANP or ANCC) or specialty-equivalent credential
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications, or the ability to obtain both within 90 days of hire
