About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide spectrum of diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts studies
• Guide patients through each procedure with clarity, patience, and compassion — ensuring comfort and understanding every step of the way
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images in close coordination with radiologists and clinical staff
• Maintain, monitor, and report on the operational condition of ultrasound equipment
• Accurately document all procedures and manage patient records within the electronic health record system
• Pursue ongoing professional development and remain current with evolving sonographic technologies and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is strongly preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credentialing body
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
