Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations across inpatient or outpatient settings and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions designed to improve mobility, functional strength, coordination, and balance
• Partner closely with physicians, nursing staff, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation specialists to drive optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, home exercise programs, and discharge preparation
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility standards and regulatory requirements
• Contribute actively to interdisciplinary care conferences and collaborative team rounds

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida
• CPR certification preferred
• Advanced or specialty certifications such as neurological or geriatric rehab are welcomed but not required

Skills

• Prior clinical experience is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage patients with complex or multifaceted medical and mobility challenges
• Excellent interpersonal communication and a natural ability to collaborate across care teams
