Job Description

• Design Individualized Care Plans: Assess each patient's unique challenges and craft targeted therapy strategies that move them closer to meaningful, functional goals
• Deliver Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply proven therapeutic techniques to restore fine motor function, cognitive ability, and independence in activities of daily living
• Collaborate Across Disciplines: Partner with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver seamlessly integrated, whole-person care
• Empower Patients and Families: Provide education and hands-on guidance so patients and their support systems can carry progress forward beyond the clinic walls
• Track and Refine Outcomes: Maintain thorough clinical documentation, monitor patient progression, and adapt treatment plans to ensure each individual stays on a path toward recovery

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Post-graduate certifications and continuing education are enthusiastically supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure in the state of Florida
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
