What You'll Be Doing

• Perform thorough patient assessments encompassing detailed physical evaluations and complete medical history reviews
• Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory data to support evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions
• Work side by side with attending surgeons to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
• Provide hands-on intraoperative assistance, including OR preparation, patient positioning, and skilled instrument handling throughout procedures
• Deliver attentive pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound assessment, patient and family education, and coordinated discharge planning

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program is required
• Prior clinical rotations with a focus in surgical specialties are strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active, unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Florida state licensure as a Physician Assistant, or demonstrated eligibility to obtain licensure
