Description

• Deliver focused one-on-one therapy targeting speech, language, fluency, voice, and dysphagia across the full continuum of care.
• Work hand-in-hand with occupational therapists, physical therapists, physicians, nurses, and families to ensure integrated, patient-centered outcomes.
• Educate patients and their support networks to reinforce progress and foster independence beyond the clinic walls.
• Participate in inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions as needed, maintaining seamless continuity across care settings.
• Produce precise, timely clinical documentation that aligns with state, federal, and facility standards.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth through continuing education, peer mentorship, and engagement with emerging evidence-based practices.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Florida.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
