What You Will Be Doing

• Execute routine and complex laboratory procedures spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, urinalysis, and microbiology disciplines — all following carefully established protocols.
• Review test results for accuracy and clinical relevance, troubleshoot instrument and procedural discrepancies, and perform routine calibration and preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and processing, ensuring samples are properly prepared and ready for analysis without delay.
• Maintain thorough and precise documentation of all laboratory procedures, contribute to quality assurance initiatives, and help bring new staff and students up to speed.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health discipline — or an equivalent degree paired with active ASCP or AMT certification preparation.

Certification Requirements

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science must be obtained within one year of hire date.
• Active certification must be maintained continuously throughout the course of employment.
