Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations across inpatient or outpatient settings and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions addressing mobility deficits, muscular strength, postural balance, and functional independence
• Engage in active collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation specialists to drive optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic objectives, safe discharge planning, and home exercise programming
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and measurable progress in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Contribute meaningfully to interdisciplinary rounds and care conferences, serving as a key voice in coordinated treatment decisions

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent accredited degree recognized for licensure

Certifications

• Active Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Florida (or eligibility to obtain)
• CPR certification preferred
• Additional specialty certifications such as neurological or geriatric rehab are welcomed but not required

• Prior clinical experience is strongly preferred, though driven newer graduates are encouraged to apply
