Job Description

• Craft Individualized Care Plans: Assess each patient's unique needs and design targeted occupational therapy programs aimed at restoring function and independence
• Deliver Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply proven, research-driven techniques to address deficits in motor function, cognition, and activities of daily living
• Champion Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, nurses, and social workers to deliver well-rounded, whole-patient care
• Empower Patients and Families: Educate and coach patients and their support networks on home strategies that reinforce and extend therapeutic progress
• Track Outcomes and Refine Approaches: Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of patient progress and adjust care plans with precision to keep each individual on their path to recovery

Education

• Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Ongoing professional development and post-graduate certifications strongly encouraged and actively supported

Certifications

• Valid, active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure in the state of Florida
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
