About the Role

• Conduct a broad range of sonographic examinations including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts studies

• Work in close coordination with radiologists and ordering clinicians to produce diagnostic images of the highest quality
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and report any issues related to ultrasound equipment in a timely manner
• Document all procedures thoroughly and manage patient records accurately within electronic health record systems
• Pursue ongoing education and remain current with emerging ultrasound technologies and evolving clinical protocols

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related discipline
• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program strongly preferred

Required Certifications

• Active certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credentialing body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
