Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations in inpatient or outpatient settings and develop personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver hands-on physical therapy interventions targeting strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional independence
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to drive optimal patient outcomes
• Provide meaningful education to patients and their support systems regarding therapeutic goals, home exercise programs, and discharge readiness
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility standards and regulatory requirements
• Engage actively in interdisciplinary rounds and care conferences to ensure seamless, patient-centered coordination

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent accredited degree required

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida
• CPR certification preferred
• Advanced or specialty certifications in areas such as geriatrics, orthopedics, or neurology are a welcome bonus

Skills

• Prior clinical experience strongly preferred, though motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
