Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical examinations and meticulous reviews of medical histories.
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the critical interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results.
• Work intimately with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients.
• Provide essential intraoperative support; prepare the surgical environments, ensure optimal patient positioning, and efficiently pass instruments during procedures.
• Offer exemplary pre-operative and post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, discharge strategies, and patient guidance.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations with a concentration on surgery

Certifications

• Current and unencumbered PA-C certification
• Certification in BLS and ACLS required
• State license (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
