Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments that include physical examinations and detailed evaluations of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing and evaluating surgical conditions through analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement patient-specific surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative support by preparing operating rooms, ensuring appropriate patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during operations
• Administer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, handling medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is strongly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
