Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations across inpatient or outpatient settings and develop individualized, goal-driven treatment plans
• Deliver physical therapy interventions targeting strength, mobility, balance, pain management, and functional recovery
• Partner with interdisciplinary care teams — including physicians, nurses, and case managers — to align on patient goals and optimize clinical outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic milestones, home exercise programs, and discharge preparation
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation of evaluations, interventions, and patient progress in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Actively contribute to interdisciplinary rounds and care conferences, championing coordinated, patient-centered care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent graduate degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Florida (or eligibility to obtain)
• CPR certification preferred
• Board certifications or specialty credentials (e.g., geriatric, neurological, orthopedic) are welcomed but not required

Skills

• Prior clinical experience strongly preferred, though motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Proven ability to manage patients with complex, multi-system medical and mobility challenges
