Job Description

• Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients’ unique needs and craft individualized therapy strategies that assist them in achieving meaningful functional goals
• Implement Therapeutic Methods: Employ evidence-based practices to enhance patients’ motor function, cognitive abilities, and daily living skills
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive and holistic care
• Instruct Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and their families through therapy techniques to promote ongoing progress outside the clinic
• Track and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring the patient’s journey stays on track

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Continuing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandated
