What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct thorough evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric caseloads using standardized tools and skilled clinical observation.
• Design individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that address the whole person — their communication, swallowing, cognitive, and language needs both short- and long-term.
• Deliver targeted, evidence-based speech therapy interventions spanning articulation, language, fluency, voice disorders, and dysphagia.
• Partner with a multidisciplinary team of occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses, physicians, and social workers to ensure fully integrated care.
• Equip patients and their families with practical strategies and education to carry therapeutic progress into everyday life.
• Participate in inpatient speech evaluations and interventions as needed, supporting seamless continuity throughout the care continuum.
• Maintain precise, timely documentation that meets all state, federal, and organizational compliance standards.
• Pursue ongoing professional development through continuing education and collaborative clinical dialogue.

Education Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a regionally accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those not yet holding ASHA certification.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Florida.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
