In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews.
• Assisting in diagnosing surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging studies and lab results.
• Working closely with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans.
• Offering intraoperative support, from preparing surgical rooms to ensuring proper positioning and efficiently passing instruments during surgeries.
• Delivering exceptional pre- and post-operative care that encompasses medication administration, wound treatment, discharge planning, and patient education.

To qualify, you should possess:

• A Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Experience with clinical rotations that emphasize surgical practice is strongly preferred.

Certifications necessary for this role include:

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant.
