Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations in inpatient or outpatient settings and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions addressing mobility, functional strength, balance, and coordination
• Work alongside physicians, nursing staff, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation specialists to drive optimal patient outcomes
• Provide patient and family education surrounding therapeutic goals, safe home exercise programming, and discharge readiness
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation of evaluations, sessions, and patient progress in alignment with facility protocols and regulatory standards
• Actively contribute to interdisciplinary care conferences and rounds to support seamless, coordinated care delivery

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialty certifications in areas such as geriatrics, neurology, or orthopedics are welcomed but not required

Skills

• Prior clinical experience is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage patients with complex medical conditions and multifaceted mobility challenges
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a natural talent for teamwork
