What You Will Be Doing Day to Day

• Performing thorough patient evaluations including history, physical exams, and risk assessments to develop targeted care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions either independently or in collaborative partnership with attending physicians
• Prescribing appropriate medications, therapies, and referrals within your defined scope of practice
• Providing patient and family education around disease prevention, health maintenance, and self-management strategies
• Monitoring ongoing patient progress through follow-up visits and chronic care management protocols
• Contributing meaningfully to interdisciplinary care team discussions and clinical decision-making

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited institution
• Completion of a nationally recognized Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Florida
