Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations in inpatient and/or outpatient settings and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions targeting mobility, strength, coordination, balance, and functional independence
• Work side by side with physicians, nurses, case managers, and fellow rehab professionals to ensure seamless, patient-centered care
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, home exercise programs, and safe discharge planning
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, sessions, and progress in compliance with facility standards and regulatory requirements
• Contribute actively to interdisciplinary care conferences and team rounds to advance coordinated treatment strategies

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent graduate degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Georgia
• CPR certification preferred
• Additional specialty certifications such as neurological rehab or geriatric care are welcomed but not required

Skills

• Prior clinical experience strongly preferred
