What You Will Be Doing

• Critically evaluate test results for validity, identify and resolve discrepancies, and perform scheduled preventative maintenance and calibration of analytical instrumentation.
• Support specimen procurement and preparation workflows as the need arises.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all procedures, contribute to onboarding and mentoring of new staff or students, and actively champion lab quality assurance initiatives.
• Uphold a safe, clean, and compliant laboratory environment in accordance with all applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Science, or a closely related allied health field; or an equivalent combination of education and applicable certification preparation through ASCP or AMT.

Certification Requirements

• ASCP Board of Certification or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science required, or must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Active maintenance of certification is expected throughout the duration of employment.
