Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations including detailed physical assessments and in-depth review of medical histories prior to surgical intervention

• Partner with attending surgeons to design individualized treatment plans that reflect each patient's unique needs and goals
• Provide hands-on intraoperative assistance, including surgical site preparation, patient positioning oversight, and instrument management throughout procedures
• Deliver attentive pre- and post-surgical care encompassing medication management, wound assessment, discharge coordination, and personalized patient education

Education

• Master's degree from a fully accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical training with a surgical concentration is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Valid Georgia state licensure as a Physician Assistant or eligibility to obtain
