Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations in inpatient and/or outpatient settings and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions targeting mobility, neuromuscular function, balance, endurance, and activities of daily living
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and case managers to drive optimal patient outcomes
• Provide patient and caregiver education related to home exercise programs, therapeutic goals, and safe discharge transitions
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment records in compliance with facility and regulatory standards

Education

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from a CAPTE-accredited institution

Certifications

• Active Georgia state licensure as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility to obtain)
• CPR certification preferred
