Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations including complete physical examinations and in-depth medical history reviews
• Interpret laboratory findings and diagnostic imaging to support the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions
• Partner with attending surgeons in the development and implementation of individualized surgical care plans
• Deliver hands-on intraoperative support — from room preparation and patient positioning to direct instrument assistance throughout procedures
• Manage all phases of perioperative care including wound care, discharge coordination, medication management, and patient and family education

Education

• Master's degree from a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical training with a surgical focus or concentration is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Georgia state licensure as a Physician Assistant or demonstrated eligibility to obtain
