• Interpret test results for precision, troubleshoot anomalies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on lab machinery.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all procedures and guide new staff or students, ensuring the lab meets its quality benchmarks.
• Promote a tidy and safe work environment, while strictly following regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Required

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within your first year of employment.
