Description

• Conduct assessments of patients in inpatient or outpatient environments and craft tailored treatment approaches
• Implement physical therapy techniques centered on mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work in harmony with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to enhance patient outcomes
• Inform patients and families about therapeutic aims, discharge considerations, and home exercise routines
• Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with facility protocols and regulations
• Engage in interdisciplinary rounds and conferences to assure synchronized care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent credential from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Possession of a state license as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialized certifications (neurological, geriatric, etc.) are advantageous, though not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience in the field is highly recommended
