We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our inpatient services team in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest. This role involves delivering comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will coordinate patient education and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of nursing practice.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to assigned patients with attention to their physical, psychological, spiritual, and social needs.
• Conduct thorough assessments upon admission and establish treatment priorities based on medical and nursing diagnoses.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized interdisciplinary care plans involving patients and their families.
• Utilize available resources effectively and consult with physicians, supervisors, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Continuously reassess and document patient status, recognizing complications early and taking appropriate action.
• Administer medications and IV therapy safely, documenting all interventions and patient responses accurately.
• Provide patient and family education tailored to their understanding of the disease process and treatment plans.
• Organize workload efficiently to ensure timely completion of care tasks.
• Communicate patient status and relevant information promptly to the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain reliable attendance and meet the physical demands of the role.

Education and Certification

• Associate degree or higher in Nursing or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current Registered Nurse license valid for practice in the state of Iowa or eligibility to work in the state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as per American Heart Association standards.
• Completion of Mandatory Reporter training within six months of hire if not already completed.
• Compliance with all federal, state, and professional licensure and regulatory training requirements.

This position offers full-time hours with day and night shifts available, including second and third shift differentials. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered to qualified candidates.
