We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our inpatient services team in a regional healthcare facility located in the Midwest. This role involves delivering comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will coordinate patient education and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of nursing practice.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to assigned patients with attention to physical, psychological, spiritual, and social needs.
• Assess and document patient conditions upon admission and throughout their stay.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications and IV therapy safely, documenting all interventions and patient responses.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and treatment plans in an understandable manner.
• Effectively manage workload to deliver timely and efficient care.
• Communicate patient status and relevant information promptly to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation following approved methods.

Education

Associate degree or higher in Nursing or a related field from an accredited institution.

Experience and Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license valid for practice in the regional state.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) as per American Heart Association standards.
• Completion of Mandatory Reporter training within six months of hire.
• Compliance with all federal, state, and professional licensure and regulatory training requirements.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the nursing role and maintain reliable attendance.

This position offers full-time hours with day and night shifts available, including shift differentials for second and third shifts. A sign-on bonus is also offered to qualified candidates.
