Position Overview: This role is essential for ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, staff, and the facility during overnight hours. The specialist monitors the premises for any hazards or suspicious activities, promptly investigating and reporting them for appropriate follow-up. The position also involves the use of hand and power tools, precision measuring, and testing instruments, with potential responsibility for electrical equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a secure environment by monitoring safety and security throughout the facility.
• Investigate and report any unusual or hazardous situations.
• Operate hand and power tools and use precision instruments as needed.
• Manage reception duties including greeting patients and visitors to Outpatient and Emergency Services.
• Complete quick registration processes and handle incoming phone calls efficiently.
• Work scheduled night shifts, specifically 10pm to 6am on Fridays and Saturdays, totaling 16 hours per week.

Education & Experience

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required. Post-secondary education or formal technical training is highly desirable. Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record and insurability under the employer's insurance policy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook is necessary.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
