Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated AHIMA Certified Health Information Management (HIM) Manager to lead and optimize the HIM processes within a dynamic healthcare environment in the Northern Plains region of the United States. This role involves overseeing workflow, managing personnel, and ensuring timely and accurate health information management operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of HIM processes, manage staff performance and education, analyze data to identify opportunities for system enhancements, and collaborate closely with various departments and leadership teams to meet organizational goals.

Education:
An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is required. Preference is given to candidates with a degree in health information administration from an AHIMA-accredited institution or an equivalent healthcare-related field.

Experience:
At least two years of experience in Health Information Management is preferred, along with one to two years of leadership experience.

Certifications & Requirements:
AHIMA certification is highly preferred, specifically Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA). Strong leadership, teamwork, and process improvement skills are essential.
