Position Summary

This role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care and leadership within the emergency department. The Registered Nurse will work closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to promote and restore patient health. Responsibilities include prescribing, providing, delegating, evaluating, and coordinating professional nursing care for patients of all ages, genders, cultures, and backgrounds. Additionally, the nurse offers physical and psychosocial support to patients, their families, and friends.

Education and Certification

• Registered nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the relevant regional jurisdiction.
• BLS (CPR) certification required or to be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications to be completed within 1 year.
• Completion of TNCC for Emergency Room specialization.

Experience and Requirements

Experience working in emergency nursing or a similar fast-paced clinical environment is highly valued. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse healthcare team.
