We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), or Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a general surgery setting. Responsibilities

• Assess and document patients' physical, psychological, and social conditions accurately.
• Ensure pre-authorizations and consent forms are obtained before therapies.
• Maintain timely and precise electronic medical records, including symptom management, lab results, treatment plans, and medication administration.
• Establish treatment priorities based on medical and nursing diagnoses.
• Document nursing interventions and patient responses thoroughly.
• Manage work efficiently by planning and prioritizing tasks.
• Ensure accurate billing and assist with office procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed, documenting any adverse effects.
• Perform procedures such as injections, immunizations, phlebotomy, tympanograms, EKGs, and vision screenings.
• Make referrals to other providers and facilities as needed.
• Handle patient phone calls promptly and document relevant information.
• Provide patient and family education tailored to their understanding.
• Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms and replenish supplies.
• Assist with medication refill requests and triage patient calls.
• Administer chemotherapy, hydration, and other medications under provider supervision.
• May float to other departments as required.

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure as an RN or LPN authorized to work in the region.
• Two or more years of experience as an RN or LPN preferred.
• Proficiency with computer systems; experience with Epic EHR is a plus.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
• Completion of Mandatory Reporter training within six months of hire.
• Compliance with all federal, state, and professional licensure and regulatory training requirements.
