Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations in inpatient or outpatient settings and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver physical therapy interventions targeting mobility, muscular strength, balance, coordination, and functional independence
• Partner closely with physicians, nursing staff, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation specialists to drive optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, safe home exercise programs, and discharge expectations
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment records in alignment with facility and compliance standards
• Actively engage in interdisciplinary rounds and care conferences to support seamless, coordinated care delivery

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent accredited degree required

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Iowa (or eligibility to obtain)
• CPR certification preferred
• Advanced or specialty certifications (e.g., neurological rehabilitation, geriatric PT) are welcomed but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior clinical experience strongly preferred, though driven new graduates are encouraged to apply
