Role Responsibilities

• Deliver continuous, comprehensive primary care across all age groups, from newborns through older adults.
• Diagnose and manage acute illnesses, chronic conditions, behavioral health concerns, and preventive care needs.
• Perform thorough physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic studies, and craft individualized care plans.
• Work alongside care coordinators, behavioral health specialists, and consulting physicians to support whole-person outcomes.
• Engage actively in quality improvement efforts that drive better results for patients and the practice as a whole.
• Maintain timely, precise documentation through electronic medical record systems.
• Provide both in-person and telehealth appointments to meet patients where they are.

Education Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Successful completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program.

Certifications

• Board Certification in Family Medicine (ABFM or AOBFP).
• Active Iowa medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
