Position Overview: This role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care and leadership within a collaborative healthcare team. The nurse will support patients across all age groups, genders, and cultural backgrounds by assessing, planning, and coordinating individualized care plans. Providing both physical and psychosocial support to patients and their families is a key component of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain clinical competency and accurately identify patient issues for infants through geriatrics.
• Recognize changes in patient conditions, adjust care plans accordingly, and monitor outcomes.
• Perform thorough assessments and apply critical thinking to interpret data and respond effectively.
• Communicate relevant information to the healthcare team promptly.
• Develop and update individualized nursing care plans daily or as needed.
• Administer medications following pharmacy and manufacturer guidelines, adhering to all policies and procedures.
• Follow physician orders accurately and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Prioritize patient care efficiently while managing stress with professionalism and flexibility.
• Utilize and manage equipment and supplies based on patient needs, ensuring department organization and cleanliness.
• Accurately charge for supplies and treatments.
• Work scheduled hours with flexibility to accommodate extra shifts as needed.
• Adapt to assignment changes with minimal disruption, potentially including respiratory, physical, or occupational therapy support.

Education and Certifications:

• Registered Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the relevant state.
• BLS (CPR) certification required or to be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications to be completed within one year (NRP not required for Surgical RN-Advanced).
• For Emergency Room specialization, completion of TNCC is required.
