Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to provide diagnostic, assessment, preventative, and therapeutic mental health services. This role supports patients and the community in a regional healthcare setting within the Northern Plains. The professional will serve as a valuable resource to physicians, hospital staff, and community members by promoting psychological awareness and offering expert guidance.

Education: Candidates should hold a graduate degree from a program approved by the American Psychological Association. Licensure or eligibility to provide psychological care in the region is required. Proof of Basic Life Support certification (BLS Healthcare Provider, American Heart Association) must be presented prior to employment or within 30 days of hire and maintained throughout employment.

Experience: A minimum of one year of experience demonstrating competence in evaluation and psychotherapy services is preferred.

Skills and Competencies: The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong rapport-building abilities and effective consultation skills with medical and health center staff at all levels. Maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information is essential. High-level socialization skills and the ability to interact appropriately with diverse clientele under stressful conditions are required. Candidates should model a stable lifestyle and personality, be free from psychological or substance abuse impairments that could affect job performance, and be willing to undergo formal psychological evaluation if necessary. Proficiency in writing psychological reports and utilizing documentation systems is expected. Adherence to personnel policies is mandatory.
