Position Summary: This role oversees the effective implementation of Health Information Management (HIM) processes, ensuring smooth workflow and personnel management to meet turnaround and throughput goals. The HIM Manager develops and refines processes, analyzes data to identify opportunities for improvement, and serves as a liaison across departments. Leadership, teamwork, and process improvement skills are essential for success in this position.

Education: An associate’s or bachelor’s degree is required. Preference is given to candidates with a degree in health information administration from an AHIMA-accredited institution or an equivalent healthcare-related field.

Experience: Candidates should have at least two years of experience in Health Information Management, with one to two years in a leadership role preferred.

Requirements: Certification from AHIMA, such as Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), is highly preferred.
