We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), or Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) passionate about delivering exceptional cardiology care. In this essential role, you will collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to support patient well-being in a welcoming clinical environment located in the Midwest region of the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patients' physical, psychological, and social health dimensions.
• Ensure pre-authorizations and consent forms are obtained before therapies.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records, including symptom management, lab results, treatment plans, and medication administration.
• Establish treatment priorities based on medical and nursing diagnoses.
• Document nursing interventions and patient responses.
• Manage work efficiently, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
• Verify accurate billing and assist with office procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed, documenting any adverse effects.
• Perform procedures such as injections, immunizations, phlebotomy, tympanograms, EKGs, and vision screenings.
• Make referrals to other providers and facilities as needed.
• Handle patient phone triage and return calls promptly.
• Provide patient and family education tailored to their understanding.
• Maintain exam rooms, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness.
• Administer chemotherapy, hydration, and other medications under provider supervision.
• Use Electronic Medical Record systems according to established guidelines.

Education and Experience

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school with current licensure as an RN or LPN, or certification as a CMA, eligible to work in the region.
• Two or more years of experience as an RN or LPN preferred.
• Proficiency with computer systems; experience with Epic EHR is a plus.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
• Completion of Mandatory Reporter training within six months of hire.
• Compliance with all federal, state, and professional licensure and regulatory training requirements.
