We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Advanced Licensed Massage Therapist to join a dedicated healthcare team in the Midwest region. This role focuses on enhancing patient well-being through therapeutic massage services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and support overall recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized therapeutic massage treatments aligned with individual care plans.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and emotional health to tailor treatment approaches.
• Develop and implement customized massage therapy plans addressing specific patient needs and conditions.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and complementary wellness practices.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and address any contraindications.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment by following all health and sterilization protocols.
• Manage scheduling efficiently, respond promptly to communications, and adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Education and Certification

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Valid and current massage therapy license or certification as per state regulations.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
• Completion of Mandatory Reporter training within six months of hire.

Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a massage therapy setting, preferably within a clinical or healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, and trigger point therapy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and families.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and strict adherence to confidentiality and privacy standards.
• Physical ability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
