<pWe are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), or Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) passionate about delivering exceptional cardiology care. In this essential role, you will collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to support patient well-being and foster a positive healthcare experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and document patients' physical, psychological, and social health dimensions in the clinic setting.
• Ensure pre-authorizations and consent forms are obtained before therapies.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records, including symptom management, lab results, treatment plans, and medication administration.
• Establish treatment priorities based on medical and nursing diagnoses.
• Administer medications and assist with office procedures as directed by providers.
• Perform clinical procedures such as injections, immunizations, phlebotomy, EKGs, tympanograms, and vision screenings.
• Provide patient and family education tailored to their understanding.
• Manage patient communications, including triaging calls and reporting test results promptly.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and medication inventory.
• Support medication refill requests and referrals to other providers or facilities.
• Adhere to all clinic policies and scope of practice guidelines.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current licensure as an RN or LPN, or certification as a Medical Assistant, authorized to practice in the region.
• Preferred: Two or more years of experience in nursing roles.
• Proficiency with electronic health records; experience with Epic EHR is a plus.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per American Heart Association standards.
• Completion or willingness to complete Mandatory Reporter training within six months of hire.
