<pWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join a vibrant birthing center team in the Midwest region. This role involves providing comprehensive care throughout prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum stages, ensuring a safe and positive experience for mothers and their newborns. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver individualized care plans and support families during this transformative time.

Education

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program and hold a current Registered Nurse license valid for practice in the region. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association is required, along with Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within the first year of employment.

Experience

Orientation under supervision will include hands-on experience with vaginal labor and delivery, cesarean sections, postpartum, and newborn care. The duration of orientation will be tailored to individual learning needs.

Requirements

• Ability to monitor and assess maternal and fetal well-being, including vital signs and fetal heart tones.
• Proficiency in performing vaginal exams, interpreting fetal monitor tracings, and recognizing abnormal labor situations to take appropriate action.
• Strong communication skills to educate and support patients and families throughout the birthing process.
• Compliance with all federal, state, and professional licensure regulations and training requirements.
• Completion of mandatory reporting training within six months of hire.
• Commitment to upholding organizational compliance programs and policies.

This full-time position offers a 7:00pm to 7:00am shift schedule and a supportive environment focused on professional growth and excellent patient-centered care.
