Position Overview: This role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care and leadership within a collaborative healthcare team. The nurse will support patients across all age groups, genders, and cultural backgrounds by assessing, planning, and coordinating individualized care plans. Providing both physical and psychosocial support to patients and their families is a key component of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain clinical competency and accurately identify patient issues for infants through geriatrics.
• Recognize changes in patient conditions and adjust care plans accordingly while monitoring outcomes.
• Perform thorough assessments and apply critical thinking to interpret data and respond appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
• Develop and update individualized nursing care plans daily and as needed.
• Administer medications following pharmacy and manufacturer guidelines, adhering to all policies and procedures.
• Follow physician orders accurately and promptly.
• Prioritize patient care efficiently, managing stress with maturity and flexibility.
• Manage equipment and supplies based on patient needs, ensuring department organization and cleanliness.
• Accurately charge for supplies and treatments.
• Demonstrate flexibility in work hours and assignments, including potential cross-disciplinary duties.

Education and Certifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Registered Nursing degree.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse within the relevant state.
• BLS (CPR) certification required or to be obtained within three months of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications to be completed within one year; NRP not required for Surgical RN-Advanced roles.
• For Emergency Room specialization, completion of TNCC is necessary.
