We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our inpatient services team in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest. This role involves delivering comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will coordinate patient education and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of nursing practice.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to assigned patients with attention to physical, psychological, spiritual, and social needs.
• Conduct thorough assessments upon admission and establish treatment priorities based on medical and nursing diagnoses.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized interdisciplinary care plans involving patients and their families.
• Utilize available resources effectively and consult with physicians, supervisors, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Continuously reassess and document patient status, recognizing complications and responding appropriately.
• Administer medications and IV therapy safely, documenting all interventions and patient responses.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and treatment plans in an understandable manner.
• Manage workload efficiently to ensure timely delivery of care.
• Accurately transcribe and communicate physician orders and relevant patient information to the care team.
• Maintain reliable attendance and meet the physical demands of the role.

Education

Associate degree or higher in Nursing or a related field from an accredited institution.

Experience and Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse licensure valid for practice in the state of Iowa or eligibility to work in the state.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) according to American Heart Association standards.
• Completion of Mandatory Reporter training within six months of hire.
• Compliance with all federal, state, and professional licensure and regulatory training requirements.

This position offers full-time hours with day and night shifts available, including second and third shift differentials. A sign-on bonus is also offered to qualified candidates.
