We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join a dynamic healthcare team in the Midwest region. This full-time role involves delivering a variety of respiratory therapy treatments and managing advanced respiratory equipment to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer aerosolized medications, mucus clearance techniques, and suctioning procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilators, CPAP/BIPAP systems, and oxygen therapy devices.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas sampling, pulmonary function studies, and cardiac monitoring including Holter and stress tests.
• Provide patient education, assessment, and support during critical care situations including CPR and intubation assistance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess discharge needs and coordinate care planning.
• Maintain accurate clinical and clerical records and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and orient new staff members to the respiratory care unit.

Education and Credentials

• Graduation from an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care license with CRT or RRT credentials.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.

Experience and Requirements

• At least one year of experience in cardiac rehabilitation or related respiratory care.
• Ability to handle standardized clinical situations with flexibility and a willingness to learn.
• Completion of Mandatory Reporter training within six months of hire if not already completed.
• Compliance with all federal, state, and professional licensure and regulatory standards.
